The main purpose for Baccarat players is to guess correctly which of three possible propositions is going to be winning on the next round. Each player may chose between Bank, Player, or Tie. 

At the beginning of Baccarat two cards are dealt to the Bank hand, and two cards are dealt to the Player hand. Sometimes it is possible a third card to be dealt to either or both hands. Winning hand is the one that is closest to nine. Baccarat is usually dealt from a six- or eight-deck shoe. All 10s, Jacks, Queens, and Kings equal zero. The Ace equals one. The remaining cards equal their face value. For instance, a 9 equals nine, a 2 equals two, and so on.
